What to do today?????
Happy birthday to you, Happy birthday to you, Happy birthday dear Chloe, Happy birthday to you. As you can guess today is Chloe's birthday (my niece), she is 10 and growing up so fast and I miss you millions little one. Uncle Brian is bringing home presents for you and Christmas presents too.
Today the boys managed to stay in bed a little later than usual; must have been all that fresh air and exercise from yesterday!
Once we are up and ready we head off in the same direction as yesterday, Ben wants more pics from different angles, Brian is texting people back home taking the piss cause it's so nice and sunny today and I just take in what's around me. We end up once again in the Botanical Gardens this time stopping for coffee and a snack, mine being two lovely scones with jam and cream, pie for Ben and sandwiches for Brian. Even at this time of day there are Christmas parties going on and I'm feeling a little home sick; this time of year I should be out partying with my girl friends, getting wasted and having a good old laugh about anything and everything, but I'm sure they are managing that all evening my absence!
After our little snack and much needed coffee on my part anyway we walk and walk and walk some more ending up in Darling Harbour and the Maritime Museum which is all but closed so we can have a quick wonder around but can't go on any of the ships or submarines. I guess we should have got on a tube but we can't find a tube station and we think we can navigate our way back; it's a bloody long walk and by the time we get back to Kings Cross the sun is setting, we are hungry, aching and a little exhausted.
After food we chill out watching TV and discuss what we are going to do tomorrow before we climb the bridge.
To be continued . . . . .
