So our first stop is BB Plaza which is bigger than it looks, but then they all are! We have had our camera about 4 months (remember we had to buy a new one in India because Ben sat on the bag and broke the old one and 4 months in the world of technology is a long time as we are now told that our camera is old; too old for anyone to keep the underwater case in stock anyway. We traipsed around Lot 10, Low Yat, Sg. Wang, Bukit Bintang (which is the area we are staying in) Plaza's all to no avail so started thinking we may need to buy a new camera with underwater housing all together. Our final attempt was at Times Square a really huge shopping mall inside which is Cosmo's World Theme Park; complete with indoor rollercoaster and other rides. So we give up searching for a camera and decided to have a laugh on the rollercoaster, bumper cars and this crazy ride called 'the DNA mixer!'
Anyway we found a fantastic camera (Panasonic 720sw) with underwater housing but get this it is also water proof up to 3m without the casing; not sure I would trust it in water without the casing though. It's about 100 quid cheaper here than it would be in England so we bought it (after comparing prices in a million different shops) then went back to our room for me to lie down as I was still feeling sick.
A couple of hours later we went out for tea at the Green Man and had Liver & Onions with mash and gravy (yum yum) which I really couldn't appreciate due to the fact that my stomach was still churning from the ride earlier, but Ben wolfed his down and said it was one of the best meals he has had since leaving England.
We were gonna go to the 3D IMAX at Times Square but I just couldn't so we gave up on the day and got an early night.
We have tried to upload some pics but the wireless connections are not too good and we ain't got time to sit and wait for them to up load we have too much to do!
Tomorrow we take the lift to the 41st floor of the Petronas Twin Towers and will view KL from the Sky Bridge.
To be continued. . . . .
