This morning we rose early to say goodbye to Brian's family as some made their way back to Sudbury and Noranda and his brother and his wife went off to work. We headed out of Calgary to Saskatchewan. We passed through the rolling ranch land of eastern Alberta, went through the northern Cypress Hills into Saskatchewan. We saw but did not get photos of pronghorn antelope and a couple of buffalo as well as a huge flock of Canada Geese. The geese reminded us that it is September and fall is coming. We have also been reminded of that the last couple of nights when the furnace came on in the motor home. (That was after waking up one morning to 49 degrees.) The road was very straight as it went through the ranch lands and the wheat fields. In a way it is a difficult road to drive because it is so straight it really requires concentration. We shared the driving and arrived in Regina around supper time.
