A collection of 5 picturesque towns along the cliffs of the ocean. I spent two nights here, the first night taking VIA dell'AMORE "lovers walk" by myself down to the town of
Riomaggiore from
Manarola where I was staying. The second day I took the lower trail from Manarola through
Corniglia,
Vernazza, to
Monterosso. Lets be honest, I’ve spent my summer doing 12 oz curls, but I wasn’t nearly as prepared as I thought I was for this walk. It’s not impossible, and not technically very difficult, but compared with my walk the previous night it was a strenuous surprise. You are literally hiking up and down the cliffs to get from city to city. It’s a beautiful walk, and it really is something everyone should do. Because it allows you to see each of the towns, stop by and get something to eat, or drink, and keep walking. My friend Craig kept raving about this place, and I can see why, it seems almost everywhere you look it’s a great place for a picture. I took a lot of pictures, but I’ll try to limit the number I upload on here. 2 nights here was enough for me, although stunning, I felt that I experienced most that Cinque Terre had to offer over my time here.
