Flying into Cancun, we quickly caught a shuttle to take us to the downtown regional station so we could bus it to Valladolid. There is no need to take taxis which are grossly overpriced as the shuttle is only $3.50.
This particular bus only runs second class--meaning you take your bag with you on the bus and you better be prepared to sit on it if the bus fills up, which of course it did. After a heavy afternoon downpour, a few contourionist positions and lots of laughs from the locals, we reached Valladolid. Here we were met with the local taxi mafia
