The plan was to get from El Calafate to Bariloche and the most beautiful, interesting and challenging way to do it was through the Carratera Austral. The Carratera Austral is a beautiful road, not paved, that goes through amazing view in Chile. We chose to do this road by tremps - "Ain't no mountain high enough, Ain't no river wide enough, Ain't no Valli low enough - keep me from getting to Bariloche..." so we send unnecessary things to Bariloche, bought food for 4 days and camping stuff.
For us to begin our journey we needed to get to Chile Chico, so we took a bus from El Calafate to Los Antogous, but the bus went through in Rio Gallegos which is souther.... thats why it took us 23 hours to get to Los Antigous. When we got there we ate the famous cherries - 1 kg in an hour - Yummy!!!
