Last few days have been fun. Went to Puebla this weekend again to visit Rocio. Arrived over there fridaynight. Had some fun with good friends of Rocio (Anna and Martin)...drinking beer and chatting till 4 am :D
The next day we went to Cholula...really nice place. The main attraction there is an old overgrown pyramid with a Catholic church build on top! It looked pretty awesome! The only strange things is that they used neon lights inside the church. Quite ugly in my opinion to do that. Rocio assured me that is was not a normal thing in Mexico ;)
There were several stands on the road. One of them was selling small grasshoppers to eat! Of course this was a great chance, because it would be my first insect that I ate on purpose! I made a picture of one of the buggers that I ate...I will upload it in due time :P Anyhow...it was a crunchy thing...the taste was not bad...but I did not like it either. I guess eating insects is still strange to me.
The next day we went to another place of which I forgot the name. There were two major pyramids. It was nice going there....drank Pulgue (a traditional Mexican drink)...ate Blue Corn tortillas (delicious) and had some other nice stuff down there. We got back from there at 19:00 or so and spend some time walking through the center of Puebla. There was a lot of activity going on there....people doing performances...and a lot of people selling food and other stuff on the street. Had tequila and cappucino-icecream.
On monday I arrived back in Mexico City and that evening Enrigue, Brenda and I went to Pepito market to buy me some new shoes, because the soles of my old shoes had broken in 2 parts after climbing La Malinche. So now I have a new pair of walking shoes for 500 pesos (about 50 USD).
Today I went to the internet cafe to arrange a few things. I plan on staying a little bit longer in Mexico....till the end of februari probably...then visit Cailet again in the USA for 10 days and then back to Holland. Been busy emailing my travel agency to get the chance done. As well I need to extend my insureance and email the person that is currently renting my appartment. As well my debit card (pinpas) broke (the magneticstrip is bad I think) after climbing La Malinche and emailing my bank about how I can obtain a new card.
As well I need to make arrangements with work. Since Enrigue will work with his father until 1 pm or so I think it will be nice that I go to work alone early...and that Enrigue arrives after me at 2 pm or so at work.
So in total I need to arrnage a few things. I also uploaded new pictures to my homepage. Still busy uploading pictures from the GAP trip...after I finish those I can start on uploading pictures from Mexico!

Funny thing....I just emailed my parents that it is beautiful weather here in Holland and 10 minutes later it is raining really hard with a lot of thunder...bleh...

Anyhow..thatīs it for now....hasta luego!
