Hey Everyone!!

Im so sorry its been so long to finish the travelpod, but a lot has happened following Oslo, and our journey home..its quite a long story, so please let me try and explain:

After staying a good while with our friend Simen in Norway, we left on the night of the fifth on a twenty-four hour journey to the beautiful city of Prague in the Czech Republic. After passing through towns such as Berlin, and making friends with some Germans, we finally made it to the city on the evening of the sixth. We were only going to stay in Prague for about two days, and then we had planned to travel to Munich again, to the black forest, and finally back to Frankfurt for the flight home. Well, we stayed in Prague for seven days. Unfortunately on what was supposed to be the last night in the city, someone ( I think it was a cleaning person ) stole chris' little backpack! It was full of valuables, but most importantly it contained his passport and our tickets for the plane and the train. So, the next morning/afternoon when we realized it was gone, we headed to the Embassy, because Chris couldn't travel anywhere without a passport. Chris even filed a police report. Well, much to our dismay, we were too late, and the embassy was closed until Monday. So for the next few days we walked the streets of Prague and tried to make the most of our sudden turn from luck. It wasn't all bad. In fact, Prague is a very historical and beautiful city, and it happens to be the cheapest city in Europe. So, if there was one city to be stuck in, Prague would be it! After finally getting his passport, Chris and i headed to frankfurt and took our flight home.

It was a bitter sweet moment for us. We both knew that this trip was the last time the both of us would be as close as we were. Chris is going to school at Catholic University in Washington, DC. I am going to the University of North Florida in Jacksonville. Yet the Europe 2005 summer trip was the absolute trip of our lives. All the planning, all the years waiting to finish high school and take off on our adventure..at the end of it all, it was one hundred times better than we both could have imagined. We might be going to different schools, but Chris and i will always be friends, and this trip did nothing but secure that fact. To say the least, it was just brilliant.

Goodbye to everyone, and thanks so much for reading my little travel journal. Love.
