We are parked at the entrance to the lemaire channel , tomorrow we will back
thru it in the daylight, plan another landing at a base where there is a
museum , shop, and the only post office in Antarctica
We had a wonderful day seeing iceberg this morning, tonight we had a
barbecue at the out side deck, they set up grills and fed us very well, I
really enjoyed the bread pudding myself, we all hudled on tables in one of
the most senic spots in the world , I believe its in the book 1000 places to
see before you die. we had a special treat as the BBC scientist who study
and photograph killer whales gave us a talk , the film will come out in
2011, called the frozen Earth in , probably be shown on the discovery
channel.
I know this will double what I type so will clean it up and add pictures
when I get home .
for those of you who thought we were crazy for going here, I say one would
be crazy to not ever see this most wonderful place on earth.!!!!!!!
