(As dictated to Anna by Roger)
Today we decided to go to Cabo San Lucas, which required us to cross the four-lane highway and catch the Subur Cabos bus.  Cost was 27 pesos each one way, which is about $2.50.  Bus was in pretty good shape ... like a city bus ... no chickens, just workers and tourists.  Roughly half hour ride and we were in Cabo San Lucas.
Quite a difference from San Jose - lots of bars, restaurants, vendors.  Roger's favourite was the Pink Kitty Club, which he was not allowed to go in.  We went into the big fancy mall on the marina and bought some souvenirs.  We had a late lunch at El Squid Roe, which is a hopping club at night but really quiet in the afternoon.  One of the waiters, Humberto, made fresh salsa at our table in a rock (mortar and pestle ... Anna's addition), which was the best we've had.  We ordered beef tacos and fish tacos - the beef were plain but okay; the fish were very good.  Our waiter's name was David - which it has been almost every time we eat out.

We strolled down the marina walkway to Medina Beach, which is the main safe swimming beach in Los Cabos.  We should explain that the whole area, or the cape, is called Los Cabos, and includes the two main towns of San Jose (the original mission town from the 1700's - the quiet laid back town) and Cabo San Lucas (the town built around tourism - the party town).

And that's alll he's got.
