Today was our 13th anniversary, and we were lucky enough to spend it together in San Francisco. The sky was clear and sunny; we were hopeful we would have better views than on Saturday, and we were not disappointed.
We started by walking across the Golden Gate Bridge. Wow, what fantastic views! Then we parked by the pier and walked about 2 miles thru the Golden Gate National Recreation Area to Fisherman's Wharf to catch the cable car to Union Square. After walking around Union Square for the afternoon, we had supper at King Thai’s Noodle House. By then it was already 7:30 and it was getting dark. We caught a cable car back to Fisherman’s Wharf (man, those hills are killers. You can smell the brakes burning), and briskly (no moseying for Roger this time) walked the 2 miles back to the truck thru the now dark park. A quick exit over the bridge, and back to our campground.
Keeping our fingers crossed that our trailer will be fixed tomorrow.
