After leaving Egypt we were finally able to take some close up photos of Egyptian artefacts in the British History Museum, funnily enough. With an impressive collection we able to live through the Egyptian culture once again but this time without the hassle. Among other things this fabulous museum had things from the around the world and from all time periods like pieces of the Pantheon, Chinese china, Assyrian artefacts, Persian pottery.... the list is endless, they even had a statue from Easter Island!

Afterwards we met up with Nancy, a good friend from back home, who I have not seen for over 2 years. It was comforting to see her once again and see how well assimilated she was in London and doing grown up stuff (something called work). But we had to keep things short as I was off to Germany the next day which meant that I was to spend the next 3 weeks apart from Amber, the longest time apart since we started travelling together. No doubt she will be missed but the stories that we will share when we meet up later on is a comforting thought.
