After a very late night finishing work, we set off midday to DIA to start the very long journey to Perth, Australia.  It was a very special day especially for Amelia, because it was her first birthday.  It is quite something to have your first birthday and first international flight on the very same day.  Ironically it was also Southwest Airline's birthday, so the ticket counters and gate areas were decorated for a birthday party. Daniel added his own special touch by banging his head before we even got on the plane.  Unfortunately, this was not his only head injury on the way to Australia.
