So I went to a huge trade show for the Audio Visual Industry called Infcomm 2010. Great show held at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Walked about 6-7 miles a day that I was not at all in shape for.

I did learn a few things like if your going to a big deal at the convention center and want to stay on the strip, take the Monorail. It's cheap and easy. Also, if your convention has a spill over into the Hilton, then that is the best place to catch the monorail on the return trip.

For eating, the buffets in Las Vegas have puked a gut. Even the nicer hotels were awful! I found the best place for both quality and price was the Victorian at Bills Gambling Hall, next to the Flamingo and across from Ceasers and Bally's.

Now speaking of Bally's Resort in Las Vegas, what a DUMP! Room was dirty, with mold and mildew in the room. When I got to my room at 4pm there were two room service trays on either side of my door. When I left the next morning at 6am they where still there, in fact at 10am when I returned they were still there. Sometime between 2pm and 4pm they were finally removed. And I had complained to the front desk manager (not sure if it helped or not). The people at the hotel from the front end manager to the people working the food courts were rude! Additionally they love having broken walk ways and escelators.
