The White River is well known for world class fly fishing due to the introduction of cold water trout that thrive in the tailwaters of the Bull Shoals Dam. The Buffalo River is famous as the country's first National River. Protected by our park service, the Buffalo remains a free flowing river to this day, preserved in its original scenic beauty.
You don't have to go to Florida or the Grand Banks for water sports and great fishing! Centered in the heart of the Ozarks; Norfork Lake, Bull Shoals Lake, the Buffalo, White and Norfork River area offers world class scenery,fishing, golf, scuba diving, river floats, cave tours with several major cave systems to explore.
