Sitting at the airport after Mimi picked us up this morning at 6:50..
We are at a cafe Florida Garden which has views over Rio de Plata, the widest river mouth in the world - 200 miles across. You can't see the other side so it may as well be an ocean! It is very dirty, polluted really, and they talk of trying to clean it as it used to be clear. There are many people fishing off the boardwalk and the fish has to be very well cleaned to be edible.
The flight is less than 2 hours, so easy one.
I am going to try to put up some pictures now, so this blog looks a bit more interesting. Thanks for the suggestion, Jaq, to put a photo of me up, but I'm having tech probs with that, and will get around the glitch soon I hope!!
