Before we arrived, Kate Penny said Iguazu is a must do before you die experience, and that is true! Today was one of those days that will stay with me always. We had a personal guide, Bernardo, who was just fabulous. He picked us up and we spent the day around the national park that surround the falls.  I am not even going to try to explain the experience and I already know the photos do not give any indication of the awe inspiring power that is Iguazu Falls.  The noise is fantastic and Devil's Throat is so incredibly powerful, it creates its own weather system.  We took the boat ride at the base of the falls and I think every one on board discovers their inner child as the boat is full of squeals of laughter. The falls create massive amounts of mist that is more like a drenching rain.  When we went up to the top of Devil's Throat, it was like a torrential downpour that comes and goes as the 'mist' blows about.  There is a constantly changing milieu and enormous waterfalls simply disappear into The Nothing (Never Ending Story reference for those who are not fantasy buffs) .  I was totally drenched and there was no way I could stop smiling...

Anyhow, I started by saying I wasn't going to try and describe the experience but apparently I can't help myself...... Sigh.....
