Here it is - just short of a week before the final hectic scramble, and then off to the airport on the great adventure!!! Despite the suitcases being half packed and the fat travel wallet full of documents, it somehow has still to sink in that I am actually going to do this. I am off this morning to buy myself a tablet to use to keep this blog happening. I have sorted my roaming phone almost and the Kindle is about to be loaded to help me through the long haul flights. Gotta love technology when you're travelling. Anyhow, I think I have loaded all the destinations on the map already, so you can see where we will be and when. Enjoy the vicarious travel!!

How exciting! I'm on a minor adventure too. Sean G's marriage to Yuphin in Thailand end of Feb, then down to Brissy for 10 days with the olds. Sadly I won’t be making it to Cairns this trip.
We’ll be looking forward to your blog. But don’t get bogged down with updating it, make sure you savour every moment of your journey.
