Most of today was driving from Lucerne to Paris. In total we will have travelled 4,650kms on the tour.

We expected lots of grapevines on the 8 hour drive, but it was mostly wheat, and a fairly average drive scenery wise.  It was our first time in the front seat of the bus, which made the trip quite pleasant.

We arrived in Paris about 5pm and managed to squeeze in a river cruise.  Today was Vastille Day, so lots of people crowded the bridges and street in readiness for the fireworks.

We spotted most sites, which we were to explore in more detail tomorrow.
