Where I stayed
Hi to all,
So I left the shitty weather in Nova Scotia behind and headed south to Ottawa were the sun was shining, I chose to fly in the end after that infamous bus ride (couldn't handle the 20+ hours it would have taken).
The place I stayed was an old jail house, it was pretty cool, right in the center of town, so as rough as it was it was pretty handy for getting around.
I done much of the same in this town as the others, loads of walking and exploring, the malls were particularly amusing on Saturday afternoons, I thought that Pompy was bad, but here the kids really went to town and they all hang out wearing their best gear, a bit like all those Hollywood teen movies, but much more amusing when you see it for real!
I met up with a guy here from England, happened to be a Pompy supporter, so we got on well, ended up having a great night out on the Saturday and found a place called Fat Tuesdays, a really lively place with two guys playing piano and another on guitar, they played a load of great tunes and got the whole place dancing...also encountered upon a my first Batcherlortee party, so had some fun with them, (Andy, you still owe me the Photos)!
In total I stayed here 5 nights then got the bus to Toronto, which was only 5 hours, so that was just about tolerable....
I'll update from there soon, take it easy,
Rob
