Rob here
It's the morning after our second big day yesterday. Riding all day in rain suits and wet feet was offset by some splendid countryside and an excellent visit to the legendary Colditz Castle as related by Lachlan.
It was interesting to see his response to the place as, unlike me, he hadn't grown up on a diet of WW2 escape stories. I haven't read the books for probably 20 years, but remembered a lot when I saw the locations. Pat Reid's descriptions must be good - looking forward to re-reading the books now I've been there.
Church of Bones today. Should be cool :) Pace should slow right down from here. Probably be in and out of rain suits all week as forecast isn't great, but sunny at the moment do should get going.
By the way, sorry for the formatting issues and duplicated text on some of our posts - the main text box on the travelpod edit screen won't work with Safari on the iPhone, so it's submission via email only until we get to a PC.

the big journey
So is your bum sore yet Robbie :) keep the blog going as really enjoying the trip with you. This is the easiest bike ride I have ever been on....LOL love jennyxxxx
by the way
mum's (joye) partner is from the czech republic and that church of bones he said he wont go into as apparently they are very superstitious over there. The charles bridge over the river in Prague built out of eggs as there was a shortage of some sort so when they were mixing the mortar they mixed it with eggs. Also 'neck-a-say' (phonetic spelling) means 'dont talk bullsh*t' so if you hear that when you are talking to someone you will know what it means. Just a bit of trivia for you both....lol... tell Lach I love his weather reports too...lol....xxxxx
Hi there
Don't you just hate those pinko bastards who don't test their web sites with iPhone Safari?
Well it wouldn't be a true Rob Roy Expedition without some major challenges occurring along the way! And although the rain must be annoying, perhaps you are thankful you're still upright and progressing according to plan.
Thinking of you both ...
Brett
