Came across to Pahrump in Nevada this morning as we need another oil change & this was the closest place that could do it, but being Sunday, couldn't get it done today so have holed up in another RV park with the air-con cranked up again & will get it done in the morning. We had intended to go down to Lake Havasu City then onto Joshua Tree Ntl Park but have looked at the forcast & it's going to be well over 100F, not much fun, so may now just head for the coast where it's cooler. We still have 9 days with the motorhome before we have to take it back, on the 10th & then fly out fom LA on the 21st, arriving home on the 23rd, will do the whole LA touristy thing while we are there.
This Wednesday is 4th July, Independence Day, & is a big deal here but not sure where we will be yet.

Go to a dodger game while you are there and get a true taste of the US. They play the Phillies next week at home
