Drove around Lake Tahoe, very beautiful but didn't stick around for long as everything cost. Most of the lake has been built around & the few spots where you can actually get close to the lake they charge to park. We ended up parking in Safeway & found a spot we could walk to so we could take some photos.
Left there & headed for Yosemite, went over 3 passes, the highest of which was 9,945ft & the lowest was 7,735ft. The scenery driving into Yosemite was incredible, Tioga Pass is only open during the summer months & had only been open for a short while. We camped at the national park campground near the top of the mountain, lots of mosquitos. The weather is starting to warm up a bit now we are inland, think it was in the 80's today.
