Woke up this morning to fog & drizzly rain. We headed towards Rocky Mts Ntl Park but stopped at Estes Park to check on the roads. Some were closed but as it was foggy & drizzly it wasn't much point going on the ones that were open as we wouldn't have seen anything anyway, so decided to go for a drive out to Bear Lake. It was actually very picturesque with the fog coming off the water & there was a bit of snow lying around. We were about 1/2 way walking around the lake & it started snowing, got a bit heavier so decided to take off as they were predicting the same for tomorrow.
The drive out of the Rockies was just as scenic, passed through a few more tunnels & then it just opened up again & the weather was clear. We crossed the border into Wyoming today & went to Cheyenne, went to Frontier Museum & then continued on to Laramie where we again stayed at Walmart. Think there was only 1 other motorhome but quite a few trucks stopping the night.
Today has been a really cold day, the first one we've had. We had jumpers on in the bus & the heater was going all day, even though we are out of the mountains it is still cold.
