Disneyland, what can I say, OMG, people, people & more people. We had planned on being there when the park opened at 8am but we slept in a bit so didn't make it till 9.30. Even though we're only a 10 minute walk decided we would be doing enough walking so caught the hotel shuttle. There were already heaps of people so the queues were already quite long, 50 minutes for some rides. We had bought a 1 day park hopper ticket which entitles you to entry at both Disneyland & Disney California Adventure, which are next door to each other. Our first mistake was not taking our glasses so couldn't read what time the different shows were on so had to ask.
We did make up for that mistake by quickly working out that they have single passes for most of the rides & it meant waiting a maximum of 10 minutes for a ride, sometimes getting on straight away
We went between both parks twice in order to get the most out of the rides & shows& by the time the main parade was over the park was packed. Disneyland & CA are very clean, no rubbish lying around & extremely friendly. In fact, everyone we've met has gone out of their way to help, even when you just go into a shop to have a look.
All the shows & the fireworks were fantastic & we had a great day, even though it was another long one, didn't leave there till after 11pm
Still trying to work out how to put photos on, thought I had it all worked out before we left.
