NICK - Time for a brief apology. I realised soon after completing a recent entry featuring the Comedy Ruler Twang (crt abb) that only nine people knew what I was going on about. Therefore, firstly an apology (sorry) and now an explanation.
Back in the office I have a long green thing about six inches long on my desk (crt!) - it's the comedy ruler and it's brought out on those occasions where someone has said / done / or even thought something vaguely smutty or funny - a la Carry On double entendre. In fact, it is used whenever one many have said "oo err missus" in the past.
So from now on whenever the phrase crt is used in a blog log, you know what I mean.
And on the subject of abbreviations, don't forget db - as Rob has already mentioned, a duelling banjo moment.

Well, as you probably know Lincoln won again last night 2-1 v Macc (Kerr and beevors) and my boys continued their inexorable slide down the table by allowing Jermaine Easter the freedom of Edgar Street (twice) to slip 2-1. Better than Saturday I suppose...
In other news freddie got the captaincy for Oz, wih James Anderson in the 16 and Jon Lewis off to the Academy. But Hoggard is now doubtful, so who knows.
Keep up the good work
