Sorry about no photos, we are having a little problem of the camera not talking to the pc.
Yesterday was spent at the Petronas Towers, lunch in Chinatown, shopping in the
central Market, then on the bus to the Palace, Water Gardens and stumbling back home at 7pm. We were exhausted....temp around 38c.....humidity so high we thought it would rain. Thankfully we are in the Nightclub district so food was close, We then collapsed into bed.
Today refreshed, we set off for the craft Centre to watch things being made, then onto Bintang area for some very serious shopping. This place makes Chadstone look like a local shop. Even Rob was slightly impressed. We then took on the public transport system to go back to the central Market. With streets blocked off for what looked like serious reasons - Police everywhere, there was a bit of a demo here on the weekend - we found it!
Seems like you don't need to travel far to explore the extremes here. There are the very poor areas at the back of Chinatown where some-one was seen recovering a cigarette from the drain and then at the other extreme the highly affluent areas with Prada, Louis Vuitton, Bvlgari etc. shops and plush hotels in the lavish Bukit Bintang upmarket shopping area.
Our feet, feeling the effects of a couple of days of ponding the pavement, found some unusual and entertaining relief in the form of a fish pond where these tiny fish nibble or lick (?) your feet and cause a relaxing and ticklish experience. Most peculiar!
We are out for dinner tonight to a Malay dinner and show then it is up early tomorrow to catch a flight to Kota Kinabalu.

Did you go to the Batu Caves? Monkeys in a cave a few hundred metres up. That's about it.
