I've been pondering for a while how to describe this christmas. Words escape me other than to say that it was full of wonderful calm, almost mundane nice things that don't happen so often. I guess that's the pleasure and comfort of being around your family at a time when everybody needs to feel themselves slow down to as a close as a stop as you'll ever find in modern life.
