So after a 6.40 am ferry crossing from Dover to Calais, with no doubt half the kids (and Brunty) having a full breakfast we arrive a Calais at 08.30 (french time)

Arrive Calais. So nearly 12 hours after leaving Harrogate we have arrived on French soil.
No, we are not there yet !!! Back onto the coach (wake up Mark our coach driver, on the road again !) and a further 12 hours to travel (yes we will stop for lunch !)

Well it's morning and just arriving on French soil - only another 12 hours on the coach !
All arrived safely at 7pm and an evening meal of fish, rice and salad with a load of tired but releaved guys glad to get off the coach. Quite an uneventful journey with anchor man and other films to keep the journey going
Really bad weather on the way down and it's damp here with a slight drizzle, let's look forward to the sun breaking the flags tomorrow. Now where are those rooms, who is sharing !.
Looks like we might not be in for a quiet night, although the hostel rules state a 10pm curfue, there seems to be a wedding reception on here tonight.... Well we were right ! It finished at 2.30am !
