So after 15 1/2 hours in the air and a few more hours eating airport food we arrive at Bali and a quick 1 1/2 hour transfer to our first hotel and a good afternoon rest (with no doubt a few beers)

Our first time south of the equator !!! Does the water really go round the other way down the plug hole !
My Blog
Well after 10126 miles, 2 films, dinner and breakfast, and 13 hours on the plane we have landed in Changi Airport, Singapore. Did not sleep well on the plane so we are all a bit knackered !
We have now just gone through security (great laugh as I put my hand luggage through the scanner and out came the other end with bag open and monkey and my underpants trailing on the belt !!) and are now in the departure lounge for our next flight down to Bali, a further 2 1/2 hours ! Aaaarrrgghhhh !
Its cloudy outside but 30 degrees, so looking forward to Bali in around 3 hours time, then just the 1 1/2 hour bus transfer, we will be dead ! But at least with 8 hours in advance we have really missed today as we shall get there around 8pm... time for bed !
Singapore airport is wow ! Leaves heathrow standing, with butterfly houses, free internet stations (hence the update) and amazing sky trains etc etc.. Huge.. it took is nearly 1 hour from landing to get the next gate !
After a further 3 hour flight and a 1 1/2 hour taxi Ride (yes we are definitely here) with road chaos everyone beeping and four lanes in two with 1000's of motor cycles we finally arrived at 11pm local time at our hotel, wow it looks like a film set for Indiana jones and the temple of doom !!! We met our host robino, had a beer and went to bed.
P.s. The water goes down the plughole clockwise, what does it do at home ?
