Just swapped some dosh into foreign dosh at the airport and are currenly enjoying a pint !
4 1/2 hours later by Easy Jet (do I have to pay for the loo ?) and we land local time at 5.35 in Marrakesh.
A quick pre booked taxi transfer takes us to the Hotel Corail and our first night in Morrocco.
Oh dear ! On the runway and the pilot says we have a problem, we have to go back to the stand, anyway an hour later and lots of banging and we take off !
"Apollo 13 we have another glitch !"
Good flight and get picked up by our awaiting taxi, poor bloke having to wait an hour as the plane was late, anyway 20 mins later we arrive at hotel to find they don't know we are coming. Too late to phone UK and the booking agent, so cough up 600 Durham to book in.
"Apollo 13 we have anothe glitch !" I hope this holiday improves !
So no prepaid meal in hotel so out onto the street. Anyway found a nice restaurant and well fed.
After a long wander round we are now back at the hotel. Let's hope tomorrow brings better luck !
