Another first experience we have just woken up after a 13 hour train journey and sleeping on our bunk beds good chat last night before bed. Slept surprisingly well just don't use the toilet !!! Service extremely efficient but they do insist in starting around 4am shouting "orange juice" every ten mins in their own Thai accent ! Weather has turned today it's raining, don't know about temp yet as we are still on our air conditioned train. As it's only 8.30 more update later......

Just arrived at the hotel, wow this is not backpacking as I remember, its more 4 star !

Just had breakfast eggs and sausage (loose term) on toast

Wow what a busy day, half an hour after breakfast and straight back out to an orchid farm and then on to an elephant camp...

Helen nearly got eaten by an elephant !!  She was sitting with a bunch of bananas waiting for a photo but the elephant fancied the bananas sooner, but they were out of reach, but Helen was not !  So out came the trunk, wrapped it around Helens waist and pulled Helen towards itself, then at the last minute spat Helen out and grabbed the Banana's !!!

LOL all around ! (except for Helen who looked as if she had seen a ghost !)
