Where I stayed
We had a well deserved lie in on the 6th before we moved to The Fortress on the other side of Galle. Our guide dropped us at the hotel through some very fancy double gates like you would expect on a fort.
The hotel design is based on a Dutch fort and is very grand, you don't need to leave the hotel complex, everything is here. The suite is over two floors and is probably bigger than our house! Downstairs is a large plunge pool with lounge and upstairs is a two tier bedroom with a large sofa to watch the waves roll in.
Probably not many updates till the end now as we intend to do very little.
