When we were going outside to do some reading, I started to read to dad and he said 'oh there is a tick on my leg'. I ran over to Iain and told him so we went to get the tick card out of the medical box. It pulled the tick off.

A few days later I picked up my jumper from my clothes pile and screamed as there was a scorpion underneath it. Mummy and daddy got the scorpion out in a glass and the man we were staying with chucked it in his neighbour's garden!

How very brave, I'm glad I don't have scorpions in my jumpers, large spiders are bad enough.
Thinking of you all in S Africa, as it is about to snow here.
I was very interested in SALT. I never expected 'betelguese' to be spelt like that!

Your Mum says she'll bring a scorpion back, so I can put it in Hugo's clothes, when he leaves them on the floor! Sounds like you're having a great time. It's 3C today and snow forecast on Monday-not quite the same as South Africa!
