*Conclusion*
First of all, it seems weird to write that. This trip has been absolutely incredible. I know its exactly what I needed and I'm happy everything has worked our the way it has. I have gained so much historical knowledge and understanding from the sights and museums. I have gained a better cultural perspective from just being in the cities but more importantly interacting with the locals. It was also fun to gain an understanding of other cultures and people through hostels. When staying in a hostel the title of "traveler" is more important then your nationality and I loved that! In general the people I have met on this trip have been amazing and I hope to keep in touch with a lot of them. Traveling with Isaac was an awesome experience and it has created a life-long bond. I wish him the best has he continues his travels. I have also had time for a lot of meditation and reflection which was much needed. Throughout the trip I have also learned the importance of good friends and more importantly family.
Seeing everyone when I got back home was awesome. I'm very excited to rekindle all these friendships and start making new ones. Thank you all for supporting me on my adventure. I love you all!

AMEN!
I'm so excited to have you home but I'm equally as thrilled you had this opportunity -- especially so early in your life! You should be very proud of yourself: your travels, friendships, and accomplishments. We are.
Love you!

There's no place like home.....
'Back in my day' kids regularly left home at 18 to make their way in the world, either by going to school, getting a job and moving out on their own, or getting married. Why is it that today 18 seems so young that it's impossible to believe that an 18 year-old would be able to handle 'life' on their own? But, Mr. T, you proved to us that you are the exception to the rule. In the last 2 months you have experienced things that will definitely lay a solid foundation for the rest of your life. The culture, the new friends, and the independence you experienced (and handled SO well) are priceless examples of how sometimes life lessons can be so much more valuable than book learning. I can't wait to see all your pictures and hear all the stories. But I will miss your blogging - so can you just keep that up for awhile?

Welcome home! Love, A.K.
