Hola!! Where does the time fly?? These past 5 days I have been spending with Janice!! We are getting along just fine!! I will miss her when I go off on my own, but know she is just a click away!! I drive into work with her, check my emails, then go to the park nearby and run!! There is a great track there and if it is too hot??, I run around the park which is treed and shady, so my tender skin gets a break from the piercing sun that beats on me every day that I spent here in the beautiful country of Costa Rica!! hehe I truely feel like this is my new job!! or my new life!! It doesn't pay well but certainly makes me feel good!! We have had lunch a few times just around the corner from "work" and it costs $1.10 for rice, beans, chicken, salad , plantines, and a drink!! A full meal... you don't leave hungry that's for sure!!Janice is all moved in to her new place and the view is fabulous!! It is a 2 story side house on a piece of property with a main house all owned by an American family!! I am picking grapefruit, manderine oranges and limes, which grow in the yard!! The fruit is delicious!! I have gone on my own downtown in San Jose to meet with Kyle, a 20 year old guy from Portland, Oregon, who is going to Yorkin( an indiginous CR village) with Me and we will also go white water rafting together!! Hopefully we will get along and it will be nice to have a buddy system, just in case??San Jose is actually a small downtown core that is not all that safe after dark!! and aparently in the daylight either!! You have to be very carefull!! It is full of markets, some old historical buildings and alot of people!!We rubbed shoulders with pick pocketers and scam artists! We gave one guy a dollar to buy something to eat, but that's not the dangerous part... once they know you have money, they could mugg you!! Well we got out unscathed!! Must be cause of all the street smarts from the sidewalks of Swan River!! We have been at the Pub once in a while.... no story there!! sorry!!
I have heard there is a snow storm in Canada?? Well enought of that!! It has been warm every day and the dry season is exactly that...DRY! In the mid 20's every day!! 30's at the beach!!
Well off for my run........
Until next time!!ROB
