today we went on our balloon flight at last...7th attempt....we flew from wadhurst over bewl water to marden and were amazed that at 3000 feet we could see france and canary wharf at the same time..

the weather was awesome the sun shone and there was no wind, it was so calm and quiet up in the air looking down on the world...at one point we seemed to be very low, about 200 feet according to my GPS, as we drifted over a playground of children who waved frantically at us..

we landed in a field, an hour and 12 miles later, with only two bumps, with the crescent moon above us and the sun setting over the basket...bliss!!

is this the start of things to come.............??
