On Wednesday May 2 brother Cees drove Tosha, Kim, Rob and me to visit older brother Jan in Blaaksedijk (Hoekse Waard).  We were expected by Jan at about 4 PM  so Cees suggested a detour to visit Europort Rotterdam and  Zierikzee , one of Cees and Sandra's favorite places.  I took lots of pictures of the port to show to some of Rob's colleagues - it was very impressive!   We had a nice lunch at a beach cafe. It was pretty darn cold that day and therefore we did not spend a lot of time on the beach!  There was a lot of beach surfing going on and kite flying .....
After that we spent a nice time exploring Zierikzee, a very pretty and scenic town indeed.  It did start to rain and that was ok because it was time to head for Jan's place.
We had a wonderful visit with Jan and his son Jan and wife Yvonne as well as their children Katinka (I hope the spelling is correct!) and Bart.
 By the time we arrived home we were all pretty tired and decided to call it a day.
Thank you Cees for driving us around all day and showing us some pretty amazing places!!
