We travelled 54kms this time to get from Bunbury to Collie.  We loved being able to catch up with 7 cousins, their families, an aunty and some friends, most of whom we haven't seen in a very, very long time.  A big thank you to them all for their hospitality and the great time we had with them during our week there.  We were lucky enough to have struck it right with marron season. We thoroughly enjoyed our first taste of WA marron,Yum!!!!  which we now know how to catch and cook ourselves. There are many lovely water spots around Collie.  Stockton Lake was our pick with the view and the easy accessibility for staying with a van.  We think there is a minimal charge  to camp there.  Potters Gorge, Honeymoon Pool and Wellington dam were great sightseeing spots but the road out from Honeymoon Pool back to the main highway was very rough and very corrugated.
