My bag of snacks was to become my breakfast starting with 2 Banana's ( I know 2! And barely I eat 'nanas at home) followed with a Chicken flavoured pot noodle. Thankfully I can't understand any form of Chinese characters so I didn't have to worry for any unsavoury additives to read on a packet. Out of sight, out of mind, so to speak!
Finally rolled into Chengdu at 1130am, followed on by a 2hr bus ride to Leshan where I got to see the Giant Buddha of Leshan. To get good photos in a short space of time I took a boat. It was around a 1/2 hour journey along the river.
From Leshan it was anther hour to get to the hotel at Emei Shan.
