Two more days at sea afforded the group the opportunity to take in many more interesting lectures and participate in more Road Scholar activities. On January 5th the Road Scholar group had dinner with students from Morehouse College and Spelman College, two prestigious, historically black colleges located in Atlanta. After seeing these students around the ship it was wonderful to have the opportunity to sit down with them and learn more about them over dinner. On January 7th participants' knowledge of geography was tested during a Road Scholar Trivia game. The winning group won dinner with the captain at the upcoming farewell dinner. The passenger talent show was later that evening, and Road Scholar was heavily represented. Three participants recited poems, one read a story she wrote about her grandson, and a group of participants performed a song and dance routine for the program finale. After three full days of onboard activities and entertainment, participants are ready to explore more of the Caribbean, starting with Trinidad tomorrow!
