After a final dinner aboard the Pegasus we set sail for Dakar, where we disembarked this morning. From the port we headed to the famed pink lake outside the city. There we learned how the lake is mined for salt and visited a Fulani village. While there, the local imam performed a ritual naming ceremony for each member of the group. It was quite a scene.
This evening we shared one final meal before heading home from our West African adventure.
