Having crossed the border into SA  we travelled to Pinnaroo Here we stayed the night at a rest area. We visited the Musuem . Whish we found very interestin and well set out . They had a very well set up Machinery section but what interested us most was the printing  part . The man that showed us around was a joy to talk to and informative  of us it was like a trip down memory lane .
Some of the old printers were in working order and the ludlow that Dave used to work on in his younger days was in working order.
From here we travelled to Loxton  through so rather unusual country side . Loxton is on the Murray River and is a farming town .They grow Potatoes ,Peas ,Carrots  Graps & oranges ,Mandos.
It was interesting to see the Locks on the murray  unfortunatly  for us no boats wher using the lock .There are 16 locks along the river . Flooding here has been a problem for the town and the effect is seen in the low lying areas along the river ,
