More Russian spoken here than Czech or German	Pupp Hotel-a setting for movie Casino Royale	Church of Sts. Peter & Paul from 1893	Ben doing his Medusa impersonation
Drinking water supposed to cure many ailments	Town is most famous spa resort in country	Carlsbad NM,CA and Caverns named after town	Even the view from McDonalds was nice
Town founded by Charles IV in mid-14th c.	Town also known for glassware and porcelain	Baths had incredibly dubious health claims	Local hero Petra Kvitova w/Wimbledon trophy
Ben trying to play song on musical artwork	Exclusive setting for fine evening meal	Geyser Colonnade shoots out water 14m high	1883 Market Colonnade contains 2 springs
Town hosts famous international film festival	Karl Marx represents bygone era	Very famous for hot springs;80m w. of Prague	Our hotel was right above the Tepla River
Town has experienced rebirth since 1990	Hundreds of old Russian villas;most fixed up	Ben very skeptical of healing powers of water	1881 Mill Spring Colonnade 430 ft. long

Town tried hard to keep classy image intact	Golf, tennis, hiking & rock-climbing nearby	Pictures didn't quite match our expectations	Hard to even find postcard in Karlovy Vary
Art nouveau buildings gave cosmopolitan flair	Hotel was 4 stars but not expensive	Town also famous for its spa wafers Comments!
