Where I stayed
Left Tanya's place this morning at 8:30 (early start for once :) ) and headed out to get some groceries. On the way out of the driveway, Maya came running after the car and wanted a hug from Nikki. I guess its a girl thing.
While in the grocery store we found the holy grail of caffeine-free pop. Nikki filled up the back seats with caffeine-free coke and honey twist pretzels. Now off to get coffee, and since this city should be caffeine free I thought it would be hard to find a starbucks. So, I type in "Starbucks" into the GPS only to find there are 62 of them in the city. :)
Once I got my caffeine fix, we're off to West Yellowstone. We saw Great Salt Lake on the way, and it has an interesting aroma and has an old film on the top. Not a place I would like to swim in. Most of the trip to Yellowstone was flat flat flat with the odd mountain in the distance until we got into the park. Got into the motel which has some interesting decor items with a wolf theme.
Now its time to wander around town and see some of the shops and restaurants. We read that Syndey's Bistro was good and decided to give it a try. Most of the items involve some sort of reduction, and it was fantastic. Intense flavours.
