So the rains continue....this time in NSW
We went to Byron Bay, but along the way got to stop in Bogangar so Rob could visit this school. Well we all went to the park across the street and were treated to some amazing views!! It was very cool, because this was not on the radar of top 10 things to see or do, but it was an amazing spot. And luckily for us, we were able to enjoy walking around for about 1hr without any rain.
Unfortunately, when we headed out to Byron it poured!!! We had to turn around from the Tweed Coast Rd, because of flooding, really it should have been the very large tree covering 3/4 for the road that should have done it, but no, we moved that only to be blocked further along by A LOT of water over the road.
We weren't able to see any of the sights Byron is famous for, but we found this cool little antique/recycled store with the most amazing shop owner. She explained to Lucas what all the pieces were for, where they came from and even helped to become a "sheik" and carry a pot on his head. It was really an experience so out of the ordinary there's no chance I will forget it!
For those curious, the store is geu'daun, www.geudaun.com and she has amazing things!
