Hi All,

We arrived at Gatwick Monday morning and went to check in. We were greeted by a miserable foreign woman who interrogated us about our travels. After a few hours milling around the departure lounge, our flight departed for Atlanta. Upon arrival in Atlanta, we were then interrogated, fingerprinted and given evil looks before eventually ending up in the departure lounge which was to be our home for the next few hours. We proceeded to sample some of the local cusine and went to Macdonalds for a burger, whilst an elderly gentlemen played a grand piano.

5000 calories later we made our way to the departure gate feeling fairly lethargic where there was little to entertain us but a few oversized vegetables hanging from the ceiling(no idea why)

After connecting to our flight, we arrived in Costa Rica, and Manuel came to pick us up. Short ride later we were finally at our destination. Accomodation is pretty good, we have a massive King size bed. Its 6am here as i write this (6 Hours behind) Amy feels like she has slept for a thousand years and is insisting i go and get her some food.

Anyway,

Thats all for now.

Ciao.

Richard and Amy.

I'm having more fun
Well just in case you are interested.........

I've spent the day driving around in Brian in the Rain. Got up and headed to Haywards Heath to see a client.

I arrived at 10.00 and proceeded to fix the problem I was called to sort.

10.30 - Problem fixed and I'm talking rubbish to a plonker who has no idea about computers.

11.00 Back home and decide I should go into town to a) open a bank account b) go the the posty. I get the the place I thought was the post office to be greeted by a closed door with no indication were the new post office is... Great.

11.20 Popped in to the Abbey to get an account no appointments until Monday... Great.

11.30 - Find new post office... It's in fecking WH Smith's... Q is about 30 people long.. Great.

11.45 - Decided to walk to Abbey in Hove. Rains starts pouring as I start the journey.

12.00 Get to Abbey (Hove) guy see's me account sorted.

12.30 - Walk to Dixons and purchased some rechargeable batteries for my new digital phone thing..

14.45 - Writing a sarcastic response to 2 people having great fun in the sun.

Enjoy it you lucky mothers...!!!!

My day...
My day started like that... (tuesday 5th Feb for those who have lost track of time in their travelling...)

My fucking alarm clock rang at 6.40, which was far too fucking early to be honest with you...

I then made my way, somehow to the kitchen to have breakfast and then headed for the bathroom... mind you I might have started by having a piss before heading to the kitchen, but to be honest I can't remember...

Anyway... by the time I made my way to the bathroom I had already missed my first train, and was getting near missing my other one at 7.39... 'holly shite, I am late...'and started being pissed off because I always have to follow the clock and am always in a rush and late of course... Anyway, by the time I made my way to the rail station I had missed yet another train by 15 seconds (FUCK!!!!!) and had to take the 8.17am...

Then, I went to the office and had straight away two coffees to start work... after preparing my first meeting of the day I headed off to one of my clients in Cannon Street and had my first meeting with yet another coffee, and I thought 'since the company is paying' fuck it I'll have a mega muffin as well!'... Ah... I had forgotten to mention that my weird client had previously taken the opportunity to show me the inside of a Church, which is meant to be the pre-work for the St Paul's Cathedral, and therefore wondered around the church for 10 mins admiring the dome and the woodwork, which had been, apparently, painted with bulls' blood! Interesting no doubt but I don't think the EU would now allow such thing, especially since they want us Frog to stop feeding the gooses till their liver explode... foie gras yum yum...

Anyway... the meeting went relatively well and I headed back to the office to book some appointments etc... and sorting problems that our stupid administration keeps creating...

I went on and on until 18.30... at which point I thought, I am out of here and headed home in dead, but ok, East Grinstead.

Now, my day wouldn't have been such a bad day... honest I have worst ones... but I am now reading your posts and it depresses me no end!!!

Lucky so and so... I still love you guys and have a great time whilst I live the fucking rat race in London!!!

Happy days...

Make sure you visit Xandari
Xandari is a place that sounds like it would be right up your alley! The art there is simply amazing, and relatively cheap. There was a great post written on the Costa Rica HQ blog on what to do while you're there.
