The rainy season delayed completion of the Habitat for Humanity houses Emerson sponsored and our work teams put so much effort into building since last year. Finally we got the word that we could schedule groups to travel to the Calauan build site to do the painting. Everyone was eager to grab a brush and bucket of paint of blue, gray or white paint. Neatness obviously did not count as evidenced by Russ's clothes and the splatter of gray and white paint on the 2nd floor onto the blue paint on the first. I guess we should have worked from the top down. But we made sure to do touch ups so the houses would look good in the end. Below are photos from our various build trips. Unfortunately, I forgot to bring my camera so there's not many. And it started to rain at the end just when we were going to take a group shot. We're waiting now for the schedule for having families move into the houses we built which may happen at the end of this year.
