I can't believe how much time has passed since we've been in the Philippines.  It feels as if it's only been just over a month but here it is Christmas time.  Was walking through Market Market today to take our prospective driver for his physical and Christmas music is playing throughout the mall.  Guess I've just got to get use to the fact that it's warm here all year long.

Wait a minute, what month is this?  I know time flies but Christmas already?  No,  I didn't fall into some kind of time wrap or black hole, and NO for those of you who know me, thinking that I might have lost my mind and am only hearing Christmas music in my head.  Well maybe I have lost my mind but yes Virginia they were playing Christmas music.  I asked Fher (our hopeful driver) about it being a little early for it but he said, "No, here in the Philippines they start the Christmas season early".

Okay, early is one thing, but come on, it's September first!  Guess I won't complain anymore about how Christmas starts at the beginning of November in the states anymore.

only in the Philippines
You'll see the longest celebration of Christmas only in the Philippines. You begin hearing Christmas carols as early as September. All the months ending with 'ber' are part of the Christmas season and that extends up to the first week of January. Enjoy your Christmas here in the Philippines.

Christmas in September!!!!
Hey Russ,
As much as I love Christmas, I would be so sick of it by December if I was there. So how is it being house husband? Do you have dinner on the table when Jane gets home? Do you wear frilly little aprons when cleaning and cooking? (that could be an amusing sight!)

Well, just thought I would say Hi!
