Today we finally hit the road at 5:30 in the morning.  I was so tired, but I didn't fall asleep until after lunch.  We played cards and watched movies to help pass the time. 
Breakfast was donuts and chocolate milk, and we had cold meat sandwiches for lunch. Mom made a wonderful dinner of Italian beef and potatoes. Of course, we don't have an oven in our RV, so she had to prepare it differently.
After nearly 7 hours of driving, we finally got to Mitchell.  We went to the Corn Palace and it was amazing! The walls were made almost entirely of corn, and the corn murals inside were beautiful! I would have liked to get a souvenier, but Dad got me a bag of popcorn.
Later we got the KOA campground, where we are now. There are 9 holes of mini golf, a pool and very nice neighbors!
Tomorrow we are off to Mt. Rushmore, so I better rest up!
